The Hip Hop Abs Chisel Challenge Fundraiser
Those who know me are fully aware of three undeniable traits.
1. I hate to exercise.
2. I can’t dance.
3. I’m too old, bald, and lanky to fit the hip-hop stereotype.
So what better way to raise money for my Sweet Dreams Fund than to wrap all three into one slammin’ fundraiser?
Last year I agreed to do the entire Flirty Girl Fitness Workout and vlog it if we raised $500. Not only did an amazing outpouring of support help us blow by that goal in a few days, donors even hit the $1,000 bonus level which forced me to workout with the itchiest pink feather boa on the planet.
The feedback from my Flirty Girl workout videos was hilarious. For some reason, people liked watching me contort and twist in ways that my body hadn’t experienced since birth.
This year, I wanted to come up with an equally humorous fund raising plan and when I saw a commercial for Hip Hop Abs, I knew my search was over.
Once we raise an additional $1,000 for the Sweet Dreams Fund then I will begin vlogging my participation in the Hip Hop Abs workout. If we hit the bonus level of $1,500 then I’ll do the entire workout in traditional Hip Hop attire along with some other “coming soon” temptations.
If we can make this happen, you’ll see moves I’ve never attempted before. Even at the risk of waking angry ab muscles that have been in hibernation for years, I’m up for the challenge.
I’ve purchased the program and as I roll through it I’ll be enjoying Secrets to Flat Abs, Fat Burning Cardio, Ab Sculpt, and Total Body Burn.
Oh, and I also get to gyrate to a few sweet bonuses like Hips, Buns & Thighs, Take It To The Dance Floor, and more.
One of the most encouraging highlights is when Shaun T said, “And don’t worry if you can’t dance, I’ll teach you my moves, step by step, and you’ll be ready to hit the clubs in your hot, new body in no time!” Clubbing AND a hot bod? Let’s get it on!
Every penny that is contributed to my “Good Night’s Sleep” Sweet Dreams Fund is used to purchase new pillows, pillowcases, plush bears, crayons, and coloring books in bulk which are then donated to an increasing number of domestic violence shelters.
When women and older children arrive at the shelter, they will be given a fresh, clean pillow and a pillowcase. Younger children will also receive a soft plush teddy bear, a coloring book, and a box of crayons just for them. Best of all, they get to take these items with them when they leave.

This kind of embarrassment doesn’t come free and I’m hoping to raise at least $1,000 for my Sweet Dreams Fund through contributors and Chisel Challenge sponsors. Even if you can’t donate, I would greatly appreciate you tweeting it out, posting the button on your blog (provided below), or even sharing it with your readers.
There are two options if you would like to support the Sweet Dreams Fund. Whether you contribute $1, $2, $5, $10 or more, your donation will help women and children who seek shelter from domestic violence. Small amounts from a large number of people can make a world of difference.
To Contribute: Click on the "Contribute" button below and you will be forwarded to PayPal where you can make a donation with your PayPal account or with a credit card. If you would like your name, website, or blog to be listed in the Contributors section please say so in the comments area when making your contribution.
To Sponsor a Cool Square: I’ve made four 125×125 icons available at the top of every “Chisel Challenge” page. With a donation of $75 your banner will be visible at the top of all “Chisel Challenge” pages forever. Simply send me your banner code and I’ll have it posted in no time!
100% of the amount contributed will go to my Sweet Dreams Fund. I’ll even cover any payment processing fees so that everything you contribute goes to helping women and children have a Good Night’s Sleep. Payments are processed by PayPal (even if you use a credit card) through my primary company, Womb to Bloom.

I really hope people rally behind the challenge. Not only to watch me embarrass myself, but also to support a wonderful program devoted to those escaping domestic violence. Please do what you can to help spread the word as it would be harsher on my ego to go without support than to dance and thrust in front of the television set.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my Hip Hop Abs Chisel Challenge and I do hope to have your support. Remember, 100% of contributed funds will go to the program. I won’t even take any out for therapy.

Trust me, you will get a great ab workout just watching Greg and laughing. And what better way to exercise!
I can see this has the potential to be even funnier than Flirty Girl. I think Greg needs to wear the 'fro wig if he does the full on garb too.
Donated! Can't wait to see your moves for the club.
And what a good fundrasier you have set up! I love it!
Just curious if my donation jumped the gun a little or does it count? With the anticipation of something very fun I had to donate before you rolled out your plan. So, do we get to take you to Fur, Platinum, and the 9:30 club when you come up? I mean you need to USE the new moves in public. AND you already have the new dud's to wear.
What's this about the 9:30 club? DC?
Can't wait to see. I will post a blog about your efforts when it's up. I hope you completely triple your goal!
AWESOME! Can't wait to see how this goes.
I hope your 'special' outfit includes Hammer Pants!
OMG, you're awesome. That picture. LOL! Love! Can't wait to see this!

Where is the button and coding to put up on our blogs? (it could be I'm blind and don't see it… *LOL* – seriously – I have to wear my glasses just in order to hear you… it's true!)
Tweeting has begun
Donation made – (F. Sargent)
Aside from the sheer entertainment this is sure to bring, I think it's a fantastic cause. Thanks Greg!
