Flirty Girl Fitness 5 Pound Challenge
Flirty Girl 5-Pound Challenge Announced!
Some think that I’m a total disaster on the dance floor but it doesn’t stop me from trying. In fact, I’m of the belief that this tall, lanky, and uncoordinated buffoon can actually break out some sweet moves.
And now I’m gonna prove it with my Flirty Girl Fitness 5-Pound Challenge. A booty shakin’, rump rotatin’, and hip gyratin’ series of workouts.
If you haven’t seen a Flirty Girl Fitness commercial yet, let me set the scene. Better yet, why not wiggle your own booty on over to Flirty Girl Fitness and check out a few of their videos. Oh, mama!
At first, I thought the premise of the video series was to help women lose weight while pretending they were on the main stage at Stickybuns Striptease. Asking around, it’s actually a pretty popular video series, and the women in the videos have some extraordinary talent.
They do say that the program is inspired by the moves you see in music videos, and if that’s true, I need to pay more attention to MTV. These women look like acrobats and their hips move in ways I didn’t know was possible. Whatever happened to doing the robot? Now that’s a workout I could handle (idea noted for future consideration).
The Epiphany
My wife was watching some show on HGTV when a commercial break led to the greatest cerebral barrage of bad ideas in my brain’s history. As a joke I started gyrating to the demonstrated moves and slapping my rear like the girls did in the commercial. Heather’s reaction was all I needed and the idea was born.
I’ll participate in the Flirty Girl Fitness program and vlog it!
Quite honestly, the sight of a 6’7″ man dancing off the pounds in this manner can’t be ignored, and that’s the whole point. I was trying to come up with ways to raise funds and awareness for the Sweet Dreams Fund I started and felt that this was the perfect idea. It’ll be embarrassing, but funny, and I might even learn a few things along the way.
UPDATE: July 21st – 9:43pm – I am blown away by the outpouring of support. Only 28 hours after launch, generous contributors helped the Flirty Girl Fitness Challenge not only meet its $500 goal, but blow right by it as well!
I will be constantly updating and my Flirty Girl 5-Pound Challenge will begin as soon as the series arrives. I have been begged to do a workout with the included feather boa but THAT will take some prodding. I’ll tell you what…if we double our goal and hit $1000 in donations before the kit arrives, then I’ll do it.

We have purchased the entire Flirty Girl Fitness program with the exception of the pole dancing series because the weight limit for use is 180 pounds. Darn. I was looking so forward to that aspect.
As I roll through the program I will be enjoying Booty Beat, Just Teasing, Chair Fit and Chair Dancing. Oh, and I also get a few sweet bonuses like Sexy Stretch and Abs & Booty. Let’s get it on!

And how can I possibly ignore the attraction of such quotable gems as…
“Lift and firm your booty…”
“Ever wish you could be a sexy dancer like the stars on music videos…”
“We replace boring stretching and crunches with sensual and sexy moves…”
“Flip your hair and have a whole lot of sexy fun…”
As you can see on the accompanying chart there is a direct relationship between lost pounds and lost dignity.
I’m not naive enough to think that this won’t have a detrimental effect on my ego but if I can raise awareness for both domestic violence and my Sweet Dreams Fund then it will be well worth it.
Those who know me know how ridiculous this plan is. But even those who don’t should still find it plenty entertaining.

We Made It! This kind of embarrassment doesn’t come free and it was my intention to raise at least $500 for the Sweet Dreams Fund through contributors and challenge sponsors. I promised that once I hit $500 in contributions, the challenge would begin, and I would video blog my progress!
One problem…you all raised the money too fast! My Flirty Girl package is in transit but it’s not here yet. As soon as it arrives, I’ll begin, but I’ll be keeping you all updated. I thought it would take a few weeks to raise $500 so you have all blown me away. Our deepest thanks to everyone who donated and helped spread the word!
You can still donate! Our fund doesn’t end here…this is only the beginning…and there are two options if you would like to support the Sweet Dreams Fund. Whether you contribute $1, $2, $5, $10 or more, your donation will help women and children who seek shelter from domestic violence. Small amounts from a large number of people can make a world of difference.
To Contribute: Click on the "Contribute" button below and you will be forwarded to PayPal where you can make a donation with your PayPal account or with a credit card. If you would like your name, website, or blog to be listed in the Contributors section please say so in the comments area when making your contribution.
To Sponsor an Ad: While the four permanent ad slots for the Flirty Girl Challenge pages are sold out (thank you all so much!!!) you can still score some sweet ad space over on the right sidebar. For only $25 your ad will be visible in the sidebar area on every page of the website for a period of 30 days. Simply make a $25 contribution to the Sweet Dreams Fund and send me your banner code. I’ll have it posted in no time!
100% of the amount contributed will go to my Sweet Dreams Fund. I’ll even cover any payment processing fees so that everything you contribute goes to helping women and children have a Good Night’s Sleep. Payments are processed by PayPal (even if you use a credit card) through my primary company, Womb to Bloom.
Q: Does Flirty Girl Fitness know you’re doing this?
A: Nope. I did try contacting them but all I ever got were order takers over in India. My emails were also ignored. I didn’t explain what I was doing in the email, so it can’t be because they hate the idea, I simply wanted to share it with them. Perhaps they’ll discover it, and I hope they do, because they are indirectly helping to kick off this fund.
Q: Why won’t you use the feather boa?
A: Because I do have limits. Let’s not completely shock the system, okay? I did tell Heather that if we manage to double our goal and raise $1,000 that I would do a workout with the feather boa. I’ll honor that commitment.
Q: Do men actually do this program?
A: I can’t imagine they do but the site does say, and a I quote, “There is no reason that men can’t feel fit and fabulous too!” It also says to consult my physician before beginning but I think my first call should be to a therapist.
Q: Do you have graphics or banners that I can use to promote it on my site?
A: I’m working on them, so for now, just email me with the dimensions you need and I’ll crank one out for you. Thank you!!

I really hope people rally behind the challenge. Not only to watch me embarrass myself, but also to support a wonderful program devoted to those escaping domestic violence. At first I was going to set the amount at $250 but my wife assured me that I was underestimating what we can accomplish here. I hope that’s true.
Even if 100 people donate $5, I’ll have met my goal, and I think this can be done if people network and share the concept. Please do what you can to help spread the word as it would be harsher on my ego to go without support on this than it will be to prance around in front of the television set.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my Flirty Girl Fitness 5-Pound Challenge and I do hope to have your support. Remember, 100% of contributed funds will go to the program. I won’t even take any out for therapy.

Greg and Heather – Thank you so much for doing this! For everyone who donated and is helping raise awareness – thank you for your generosity. While this HUGE tragedy will affect me for the rest of my life – I know that there is goodness, light, and happiness still left in this world and that is so evident by all the love and support I have received throughout this whole ordeal. I continue to feel the love and support and am so thankful that God is good and my 3 angels in heaven have not died in vain:-) It will be a life mission for me and thank you again for joining me!
