Ok, so Google has decided that it doesn’t want to own the world because they’re getting out of the Feed game. Or so I think.
As a result, the millions of you who have subscribed to receive updates about new posts via email or RSS may be eclipsed from being notified. What this means is that all of you are at risk for the onset of withdrawal symptoms and/or deep depression.
I *think* I have successfully transferred everything over to where subscribers will now be notified about new posts via email or RSS (or soon will be).
So, this is a test before I post my AWESOME contest. Are people getting this? Are you hearing me? PLEASE comment below and let me know if you were notified by either email or if you saw the feed okay in your RSS reader.
I swear, if Feedburner zapped all my subscribers, I’m shutting down. I’m in no mood to start over.

Big changes coming. I’m going to be redesigning my blog, dumping Thesis, and switching email/RSS to MailChimp. These changes will take place in the coming week and I hope you all bear with me as I make the switches. After the housecleaning, I’ll be reigniting my passion for writing and getting back to regular posting.
I’ll be updating soon!

Can’t read your entire post because the Sesame Street ads cover much of it. Is there some way I can get around this?
I’m zapping the Sesame Street ads. I might just zap them all.

I’m not sure if I use a feed? I use the reading list on my Blogger dashboard to keep up with everyone I read. This post showed up in there, if that helps!

My google reader “next” button brought me here today.

I subscribe to you via email but I wasn’t notified of this post. {but maybe it’ll show later?} I just stopped by because I hadn’t seen any emails since your last post.

I get notification from blogspot because you’re a one of the blogs I follow. I don’t know if that’s google reader, or RSS or whatever but I saw that you’d posted something.

I honestly have no idea how I got here. But you were in my reading list so here I am.
Thank heavens all is well–I was concerned about family/health issues keeping you from posting, but it’s only Google’s plans for world domination, phew….!

I saw this on my google fee on my igoogle home page. I am not very happy with google for taking it away but meh…not much I can do.

“Hands up everyone who can’t hear me.”
Am I the only person who finds it hilarious that you’re making a post asking if people can see the post?
I use Google Reader and you know that feed is working based on others’ replies. I’m posting anyway because you have mentioned once or twice that you like getting comments to know people are reading
Got through email!
I got mine via email! Granted, 18 hours after you posted this, but I got it nonetheless!
erm… not getting anything
Not sure what the RSS is… and it said that you deactivated the email subscription.
Not sure how to update stuff.
I got zip..nada.. sad face…
As a loyal reader of this blog, and as an official volunteer for Google, my understanding is that Feedburner is not going away…but they are removing the inline ads aspect from it, according to Adsense. I have most of my blogs running through Feedburner, as it is the only way on Blogger to have easy email subscription, and I am was very concerned that I would have to do a lot of template editing in the near future but at this time, there is no reason to fear. Fingers crossed that Google doesn’t make me into a liar anytime soon.
You can do RSS feeds via Mail Chimp? Cool. I’ll need to look into that.
And dang it, you’re dumping Thesis? I was just about to email you and ask if you had updated to Thesis 2.0 yet and how the customizations went. LOL
