Welcome back for another weekly installment of Monday Mingle! I’ve made the move to Vimeo because this week’s mingle is 12 minutes long and YouTube has a 10-minute time limit unless you’re famous.
Which I’m clearly not.

This week’s mingle ran a little long because I wanted to give a shout out to my Internet Boo, Gena of TheMorrisBunchBlog.com. She is 33 weeks pregnant and started to experience signs of labor. Worried about a premature birth, her doctor wants her to stay close to the hospital and under monitoring. Being 50 miles away from her daughters is excruciating and she’s miserable!
I’m hoping to elicit some positive vibes so that she doesn’t dilate any further than she already has. Let’s keep that lil’ sugar bun in the oven just a little while longer.
Stay positive Gena! Know that our thoughts are with you and Stoney! You and your cervix will be in my thoughts. But totally not in a creepy way.

I am a firm believer that all the world's problems could be solved by Girl Scouts armed with Thin Mints. There is not a person in existence that doesn't love a Thin Mint. We should all wear pins that say "Thin Mints = World Peace" And I want to try those Snicklerbottoms you were talking about…they sound tasty.
Why yes, I have camp fired…I just didn't stick around to actually camp lol. Or is that just a bon fire? Either way, give me a marshmallow and a stick and I'm happy.
Crabs! Wow. Bring on the butter! lol. And falling into a fire?! OUCH! Glad you weren't scared for life!

I have to agree on the reverse psychology. I was 2cm for 2 weeks, and our son was still 8 days past due.
My 8yo has chores, and he's supposed to get an allowance if he does them to teach him financial responsibility. It's satisfying as a parent when he asks for a toy or candy when we're in a store to say "No, you didn't earn your allowance."
LOL @ Greg's attitude towards Boy Scouts. No wonder the kids don't do their chores.

Sending vibes for at least 4 more weeks….I know that pre-term totally sucks! I was at pre-term with my twins @ 33 weeks and went until 36 with them. One was 8lbs and the other was 6lbs so no WAY I was going longer. Especially all the wonderful nasty drugs to prevent labor. But hey if nature calls.
So I agree on the chores….we delegate but cannot say they get done. Awesome on the scouts…some people can hang with the scouts. The cookies…I think they are a cult drug so you buy more and LOTS of them! Nice camping story, AZ has great camping….Texas….isn't the whole state a big campground? Have a great week.

Greg – where do I begin? First of all, I could watch you for hours – don't worry about it being long – you are HIGHLY entertaining. One of the best parts was watching Heather crack up. I've said it before, but how on earth does she ever get anything done with you around? LOL!
The homage to Gena was classic – she is going to absolutely love this and baby Myles will someday watch this and laugh hysterically. I'm sending good vibes to Gena as well that she can keep the little bun in the oven a bit longer. Love the song choice!

You are too funny! Haha, reverse psychology sure worked for my kids. They were both late! My kids are exactly the same with chores. It's RIDICULOUS! caramel Delights are the BEST Girl Scout Cookies ever! I have a box sitting right here on my desk that no one is allowed to touch lol.
