Monday Mingle – March 15th

by Telling Dad on March 14, 2010

monmingleWelcome back for another weekly installment of Monday Mingle! No special effects this week as we had to hurry while our daughter was finally napping.

For those unaware, Monday Mingle is a weekly video blog where a series of questions, topics or ideas are answered and discussed by participating bloggers. Jennifer over at Eighty MPH Mom posts the questions and then bloggers answer them vlog-style.

With that, let’s get rollin’!

Ha! We should use that tagline! “Monday Mingles; protecting bloggers from Identity Theft!” You never know when that could happen!
I LMAO to “You wouldn’t rock climb, that’s exercise..” You two make me laugh so much!
You ran into a friend? Is he still your friend? I ran into a guy on a bicycle once…then he asked for my number. I’m a little more careful since then! LOL

Hey…Did you get new glasses?

Mingle. Cute. Reminds me of Marlo Thomas from “That Girl” – she would go to parties and “mingle mingle”.

I digress. Sports? None of the above. To me, golf, is an extreme sport. Trust me on that one.

Driving? Aggressive drive, present & account for. I live in Connecticut. Enough said!

I like the LAST part–”We’ll see you later.” Cute.
I love the way when you your wifey is talking and the faces you make at the camera–like yeah right…:)lol. So funny.
Krispy kremes WITHOUT the calories?? And money! Now you are talking.
I still think it is hilarious that a TALL guy is afraid of heights. HA!
How big is your stepladder GReg? 2 or 3 steps? HA!
Thanks for mingling! You are SOO fuuunnny! Hope U will mingle NEXT week!
My questions…:)
“You say its your birthday…”

HAVE a GREAT WEEK!

I would just like to say that all the other driver’s are morons!! They are all texting or talking on the phone…what ever happened to just entertaining themselves with singing along to the radio?

LOL — you guys are so funny together!!

I want your wish too!! Thank goodness there is not a Krispy Kreme in my area!

Have a great week!

Hi guys! Oh, how I wish my son got the genie question too! I fear the car might be totaled this time, but he is okay – that’s all that matters.

Wow Heather knows how to throw that hand over your pie hole. LOL!! I imagine she has to do this frequently. Oh – good idea, I would do the rock climbing WALL too. That I could definitely handle. My hubs doesn’t like ladders either.

I agree with Heather – most drivers ARE morons!! Wait – I want to hear your stories too – you will have to fill us in okay? Is your friend still with us?

Ummm yeah – the world is peaceful. Loved Heather’s giggling! Healthy and happy and Krispy Kremes are good.

It is so fun to watch you two – thanks for mingling!

Glad to see you both again! Your duo mingles are always so cute, lol.
It would probably terrify you to know that I’ve spent many many hours on the top rung of a 15 foot ladder. Being in a shop where the scenery was sometimes very tall, that’s how I’d have to get up there to paint it.
I also want to hear about your stories! You always have such interesting ones! You’ll have to fill us in later, please and thank you. :)
Great wish! I mean, that’s all you really need in life – money and Krispy Kremes. I think you’d be pretty well set.
Thanks for supplying the questions this week Greg! Have a good one!

You both are so much fun!!!

I was surprised that you didn’t want to do any of the 3 daredevil activities either. I figured since it was your question, you must be the type always trying to challenge people to do crazy stuff like that.

Love the genie question… it really gets interesting answers out of people.

Thanks for the fun questions!

And I just have to say that I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have you add your fabulous humor and intriguing questions to our video conversation site Say It Face To Face. You are such a riot! You AND your wife.

Thanks for the questions this week!

I should have thought about rock climbing in a mall. That would be a lot safer than rock climbing on a mountain. Where was my head on that one?

I loved the little chat between you and your wife about driving. You 2 are so funny. You ran over your friend? I hope it was just his/her big toe or something. lol

Brandy March 15, 2010 at 7:28 am

Greg I am totally with you! I would choose neither sport, terrified of heights! I am defensive until I get cut off or my children and my car are put in danger lol. The other day some guy was in the left turn lane at WalMart and turned right , just went around us like my big ol’ SUV wasn’t there. Then we ended up ahead of him at one point and he came up and cut us off with MAYBE a foot to spare. So at the next light I rolled the window down and got Barret to smile and wave wildly at him. Of course at that point I had to keep him from throwing a tater tot at his window LOL.

Karie March 15, 2010 at 10:28 am

I love how unamused your wife was for a moment then the digress and she giggled. Heck yes for jumping out of planes, that is the only way to do it. Oh you chicken squat…rock climbing. Pft, cables schmables.

Oh the driving was funny….the banter…she totally busted you!

Be selfish and self-serving…eat your Krispy Kremes…what’s wrong with that? Have a great week.

LindsayDianne March 15, 2010 at 3:42 pm

I want your wife to vlog every week. :)
Great one, as usual.

ExtraordinaryMommy March 16, 2010 at 12:53 am

The two of you are darling – I love that you talk for her and she teases you. The banter is great fun. So much fun to be joining in the Monday Mingle with you!
