Hyatt Cincinnati Review

by Telling Dad on July 11, 2010

I have so much catching up to do and so many stories from our adventure in Ohio and West Virginia that I’m really not sure where to start. I’m not one for chronological order so I figured I’ll just jump right in with what hit me first.

In our week-long pseudo vacation we stayed a few nights at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Cincinnati. Our 8-year old son was so impressed with the bellhop experience that he felt compelled to fill out a comment card. He also asked me to write a review of our stay “on your blog or whatever it is”. (Even my son can’t define it).

I know this thing is brutally difficult to read but I blame the camera and dim lighting. I recently purchased some mega-cool SLR something or other camera that will take me to the next century but I haven’t read the instructions yet. I probably never will. But I have it.

For those who can’t read “blur” I’ve translated the comment card he submitted below.

Under Your Arrival Experience:
- Perfect bag helper
- Good front desk helpers

Under Guest Rooms:
- Love the beds
- Mirrors are fantastic
- TV is shining
- Windows are non-smudgy
- Perfect desk
- Carpet is perfect
- Tables and bedstands are A.O.K.
- Door is kinda moldy and dirty

Under Other Aspects of Your Stay:
- I JUST LOVE THIS HOTEL
- Thank you for the top floor
- Loved the main lobby

A Special Thanks to:
Charles
Bellhop
Front Desk People

So there you have it. If you’re ever headed to Cincinnati, check out the Hyatt. It was awarded Michael’s Stamp of Approval, and if you can overlook doors that are kinda moldy and dirty, it looks to be a great place to stay.

For the record, the doors were neither moldy or dirty. What he saw was a slight green smudge on the Emergency Exit diagram. Obviously, he has very rigid standards, but this means you can take the positives to the bank.

I know I've told you this several times but this kid needs his own TV show. I never read a story involving him without laughing.

We could use him at AAA. We have people asking all the time for recommendations on hotels. He can work the front counter.

Wow, I rarely see a shining TV! It must have been a special room. We enjoyed having your family stay with us in Ohio!

Hilarious, Greg!! And, you were in our geographic area where the mirrors are always fantastic :) Did you happen to pass the burnt down Jesus statue on I-75? That's a parody I would love to see you do!
