UPDATE: Sponsorship Filled! My incredible new friends over at Boogie Wipes answered the call! They will be rewarded…for the Boogie Man cometh!
I know I poked fun at BlogHer ’09 after all the tweets about the chaos that ensued, but the truth is, I do hope to attend next year.
I actually intended on waiting a few months before releasing this panhandling music track, but apparently there is no time to spare. Tickets are already on sale for BlogHer ’10 (they sold out last year) and bunches of bloggers are already pimpin’ their sites for sponsorships. I figured I better get on it if I’m going to get my name into the fray.
For those of you who aren’t bloggers, BlogHer is a wonderful opportunity for blogging women (and men) to network, exchange ideas, and empower themselves as they work to carve out their own respective niches on the web.
I have met so many wonderful bloggers virtually that I’m striving to attend and meet them all personally. Rather than just post a page to solicit a sponsorship, I put my plea to music, and I’m told that someone, somewhere will decide that I just have to be there. We’ll see.
So without further babble, I give you my pitch for BlogHer ’10…to the tune of “New York, New York” by Frank Sinatra.
If you are interested in sponsoring TellingDad.com then there are lots of wonderful things we can do together. You’ll be showcased on my site even beyond BlogHer ’10, you can have the pride of being the one who got to me first, I can sport your gear at BlogHer, I can cause swag-riots with your goodies, and much more.
While I’m seeking a full sponsorship (event tickets, hotel, airfare, Ferrari rental), I’m totally open to multiple sponsorships. I just don’t want my site or my shirt to look all Nascar with a bazillion bumper stickers on it. Wouldn’t you rather be the sole recipient of the spotlight?
