This is actually my first foray into the Monday Mingle arena so it’s as new to me as it may be to you.
For those unaware, Monday Mingle is a weekly video blog where a series of questions, topics or ideas are answered by participating bloggers.
Jennifer over at Eighty MPH Mom posts the questions and then bloggers answer them vlog-style. I thought it sounded like fun, and I’ll rarely turn down an opportunity to act like a doofus, so I decided to give it a trial run this week.
Hope you enjoy this week’s Monday Mingle as I had fun doing it. Perhaps I’ll try it again next week!

LMAO I just peed myself!!!!! I think you need to do like my husband does and turn the songs into your own words!!! He all too often than not will sing “I’ll be a better Blan (his brother) better off” or other ways. It’s ad lib music style!!!! You’d be perfect at it!!!!!

Okay yes, Dennis Miller…RAWKS! He and Bill Maher are my all time fave! Your singing totally was AWESOME!! You have a great voice and I was laughing so hard I started to choke on my coffee…my husband was wondering WTF was wrong with me. Seriously….YOU RAWKED it!! I loved the Dennis Miller story, and his girlfriend throwing him over her shoulder…that painted the funniest visual…still laughing. Simon Cowell was great!
Your voice sounds good! My daughter was watching with me and we both just about lost it with “I Kissed a Girl” and Lenny Kravitz. That was awesome. I swear – your poor wife (giggle). How does she get anything done around there? I would be laughing so hard I would never get anything accomplished.
You rocked the limerick!

OMG! I’m so very glad I decided not to put my own piddly version of Monday Mingle up this week. It was to be my inaugural Monday Mingle vlog too. I didn’t participate but most definitely will next week since I’ve got a whole week to prepare. LOL, loved the singing (so glad you chose to blog instead of pursuing a singing career cuz I know I couldn’t afford to buy tickets) and I so totally think your wife must be terrific to “tolerate” you, LOL.

Thanks Greg! As I told you on the forum, my 18 month cheered up 100%. He giggled and kicked when you sang the “Ok smarty go to a party” part lol. I had to cover his ears for the S-E-X part though. Haha

Thank you to everyone for the kind comments! Certainly encourages more doofusness. My wife says the fact that I make her laugh each day is one of the only reasons she hangs around. Humor is marriage security. Well, that and these chiseled abs.
She does roll her yes on a daily basis and usually says things like, “You are such a dork”, or “I don’t know why I bother talking to you”, but I know she loves me dearly.
OMG – that was too funny! Between your singing and your avatars … I’m a little scared.
